James B. Glattfelder

I am a physicist turned quant, turned complexity scientist, with a pinch of data science and a philosophical bent, interested in fundamental theories and real-world complexity.

I am into connecting the dots and understanding the big picture.

I am at home in academia and business.

I am interested in philosophy and the history of science, the borders of knowledge, the foundations of reality, the limits of perception and cognition, emergence of self-organization and information processing, collective intelligence, sustainability, environmental issues, defects of the financial system, and technology.

I like snowboarding, electronic music, surfing, travelling, climbing, interacting with people, writing, skateboarding, Linux, and the blockchain.

I love Ladina <3
